Case Study: Workplace Wellbeing in the Public Sector
Flinch is working closely with one of New Zealand's largest crown entities to help improve the wellbeing of more than 3000 employees.
In-depth interviews with a range of staff enabled the team to generate key insights about the main barriers and motivators for increasing wellbeing across the entire organization.
This information supported the co-design and development of a sustained wellbeing programme over an 18 month period. This programme has involved combination of training and workplace activities designed to help staff take small actions to improve their own personal wellbeing and to support others.
There is now a strong body of evidence that demonstrates how these positive outcomes can be supported by listening to staff and making key changes to the physical, social, cultural environment in which they work.
